Renu
was two years old when she lost both her parents. Today
two and half years later she looks at you straight in
the face with clear sparkling eyes and exudes a quiet,
shy confidence. She has her own dreams for the future
and is determined to achieve them. Ever since Renu could
remember, her parents Akhlesh and Asha would have violent
fights. Frequently, her father would beat up her mother.
Finally, one day, Asha ran away leaving Renu & Menu.
She did not return and Akhlesh was not at all bothered.

Before long, her father also whisked off with another
woman leaving the kids on the streets near her grandparents
house. This was the time Project Crayons stepped in &
recognized the three most important needs for Renu &
Menu:-

Having a thorough insight of the conditions prevailing
we at project crayons have decided to do the following
things-
1. Providing her with regular counseling so that she overcomes
the trauma she had gone through in her life.
2. Linking Renu to a sponsor who would encourage her education
and healthcare.
