In my 25 years of teaching, I have guided innumerable students by asking them to begin their journey, may it be a mile or a thousand miles with one single step. In fact when we started PROJECT CRAYONS [Child Rehabilitation And Youth Oriented Nationwide Services.] as a small rural development project, little did we know that it would transform into a mentor model, by being committed to the root causes of the problem and trying to better the quality of life especially for the poor, the oppressed,
the marginalised in urban and rural areas.
We at CRAYONS take this opportunity to thank you for placing your trust in our work and sharing a common dream. Every hour you spent at the shelters, Every medical camp you volunteered, Each coin you dropped into a donation box, Every card you bought, the tickets you purchased to an event, every cheque you mailed us, each letter of advice & encouragement you wrote has helped us climb this uphill task and expand our outreach program. Most importantly, lets build the future of our nation which depends on the education we give our children.

And always remember somewhere a child is waiting............................

To be loved and cared.

  In solidarity,
