Employment and Youth Empowerment
(A vision to form sustainable development)

The project was initiated on the 15th of September 2007 with a group of 8 individuals from homeless backgrounds. They were employed through ISS and were given the opportunity to work at the airports of Mumbai. The job entailed collecting money from the general public and passengers for use of the public restrooms outside the domestic and international airports
Today 26 staff members are employed at 12 restrooms. The coordination and supervision was carried out by another person who wasn’t qualified with degrees but has the creativity and motivation to get the project working.
EYE is looking for more opportunities to place youth into jobs.
